A 13-year old artist has found a new opportunity for her art

I ran across the story on the Orange County Register website about Madison Bolokowicz, a 13 year old from Northern California. Madison is very a accomplished girl — she maintains a 4.0 grade point average, plays the violin and tennis, and even started karate training recently. But she says she has been passionate about art since she was a toddler and started taking art lessons in second grade. She likes all types of art subjects, but loves landscapes and animals the most. Arts programs in school are critical to future innovation

Good.is, recently published an article about a non-profit program in Los Angeles that brings art training to the poorest kids in America – the kids from the Skid Row neighborhood.
