I ran across the story on the Orange County Register website about Madison Bolokowicz, a 13 year old from Northern California. Madison is very a accomplished girl — she maintains a 4.0 grade point average, plays the violin and tennis, and even started karate training recently. But she says she has been passionate about art since she was a toddler and started taking art lessons in second grade. She likes all types of art subjects, but loves landscapes and animals the most. Good.is, recently published an article about a non-profit program in Los Angeles that brings art training to the poorest kids in America – the kids from the Skid Row neighborhood.
