Wow! I just got an email from a summer camp friend from Florida. She attends Moon Lake Elementary in New Port Richey, Florida. And this year to kick off the new term their principal and teachers brought in a great new program. To help build more of a community feeling and a sense that school is more than any one particular classroom, they organized a “drumming” exercise that kids from all the grades participated in to start the day.
