“Building a Community Garden” gets a thumbs up on mom’s blog

Happy Belated Thanksgiving!
Hey Gang! I just wanted to wish everyone a belated Thanksgiving! Mrs. Sheffield took us to her sister’s house in upstate New York for the weekend, and I am just getting back today – Sunday. It was a great time as her sister lives on a farm, and I have some great new ideas for our Backyard Garden project. I have some homework to finish before tomorrow, so I can’t write too much now. However, I have a lot of good stuff to tell you all about. See you at the clubhouse soon!
Kids4Kids Launches
Right here in Jersey City, NJ a 13 year old girl, Elinor Mokaya founded and launched an organization for kids who wants to help disadvantaged children at home and abroad in Kenya.
According to the Executive Director of a local non-profit called ShredLove, Elizabeth Royster says that “Elinor is a serious 13 year old who wants to make a difference in the lives of needy children.”
