Random Acts of Kindness Week

I am so happy that we are back to blogging. It seemed like we all got busy over the holidays and then forgot to get back on here to share thoughts, articles and information about kids making a difference across the country!!

Congratulations Cooper on the Giants winning the Super Bowl — I know that you were anxious that whole week, hoping that they would outplay the Patriots!! I was thinking about you as I was watching the game with my parents and just as excited when they finally won the game.

The first thing I wanted to do was to wish everyone a Happy Valentine’s Day tomorrow! May you all have a wonderful day!

The second thing I wanted to share was the fact that not only is Valentine’s Day tomorrow, but this whole week is Random Acts of Kindness week and I wanted to share a website with everyone: www.randomactsofkindness.org.

Maybe instead of each of us celebrating the one day of Valentine’s with our friends and family — maybe we can also reach out and do something unexpected to someone special in our lives, that we don’t always get a chance to thank for supporting us.

I for one, have already been making a list of small ways that I can show kindness to a chosen group of people that have really influenced me and helped me when I needed it!
