Just to let everyone know (in case you might want to go) my dad and I are attending the Harlem Junior Tennis 40th Anniversary Celebrity Pro Am and Dinner Gala at the Billie Jean King National Tennis Center in Flushing Meadows, NY on May 7th.

I will be out of school that day because the registration starts at 1:00. I am playing as one of the Amateur players and dad knows so many of the Celebrities connected to tennis that we were invited.

Some of the celebrities that you may have heard me talk about that are playing tennis are Jim Courier, John and Patrick McEnroe and Mary Carillo.

This is a great organization in New York City that helps children through playing tennis and over the years, approximately 25% of the kids have gone on to be awarded college tennis scholarships.

The Pro-Am starts at 2:00, there is the Finals right afterwards at 4:00 at Arthur Ashe Stadium (another great tennis player) and then a Cocktail Party and Dinner following at 6:00pm.
