Video Game Computer Camp

Basil, speaking of cool camps, I thought you might find this camp interesting!

An organization called Active Learning is creating Computer Enrichment Camps around the country this summer. These Game Builder Creation Camps will have kids actually designing, developing and creating one of a kind computer games. Hey Daisy, I just read about a company, GameFly, which is a video game rental service, but wants to become a one-stop online game delivery destination.

They have created a fund to help game developers launch their games at an online Android GameStore.

Video Gamers Raise $150,000 for Cancer

You know how we are always talking about different adventures we can create, using our talents to help others? Well, I just read an article about a group of video-game enthusiasts from a group called Speed Demos Archive, whose members are all about completing video games quickly!

So what they did is put on a six-day marathon of speed gaming! There were about 90 people gathered, in shifts, at the National 4-H Youth Conference Center in Chevy Chase, Maryland, to play video games around the clock for a good cause, in the event called “Awesome Games Done Quick 2012.” More >
